From the Dean :
I am excited to join BIBC School of Social Work and Community Development, where I have the opportunity to work with other transformational leaders, preeminent scholars, excellent instructors, dedicated and talented staff, and forward-thinking students who are changing the practice of social work.
Our future is boundless and bright. Learning from our past and leaning into our professional value base, we will transform systems by leading the profession vis-à-vis our research, community engagement, and teaching. The future requires our profession to lead boldly, collectively, and without compromise.
The path ahead of us energizes me. It is a way forward, a way where diverse people and collective voices are at the center of our innovative programming. I am eager to reaffirm our shared goal to foster social justice, create equitable spaces, and enable living conditions where individuals, families, groups, and communities thrive.
Social work is critical to advancing every aspect of society. Breakthrough International School of Social Work has tremendous capacity and is critical to the advancement of Breakthrough International Next plan. I look forward to building on the incredible momentum established and leveraging his multiple accomplishments into our new, shared goals.

Breakthrough International Bible College from the outset identified social work and community development as an area lacking in properly trained professionals based on a number of media reports on mistreatment of the sick, elderly, special needs children, HIV aids victims etc Social and Community Development is a course that covers a wide range of contemporary subjects and topics. What these things have in common is that they will help one to tackle the social problems that matter most such as homelessness, drug-use, violence, mental health, and many more. Social workers are responsible for helping individuals, families, and groups of people to cope with problems they're facing to improve their patients' lives. One aspect of this is teaching skills and developing mechanisms for patients to rely on to better their lives and experiences. Community development usually has three major elements:
(a) community members' well-being or welfare involving both material sufficiency and non-economic aspects of living such as health and education;
(b) resource development, involving increased production and efficiency; and
(c) organizational development, Upon completion of the prescribed course of study for Diploma in Community Development and Social Work the graduate will have acquired knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to:
